VOICE IN A MILLION MUSICAL THEATRE SUMMER CAMP

Join Voice in a Million this summer for five exciting days of singing, acting, dancing and performance at our inspiring Musical Theatre Summer Camp.
Taking place from Monday 27th July to Friday 31st July, this fantastic course will be held at the wonderful Cecil Hepworth Playhouse in Walton-on-Thames — a fully equipped local theatre venue designed for professional music and stage productions, giving children the unique experience of rehearsing and performing in a real theatrical setting.
A WEEK OF WEST END MAGIC
Throughout the week, children will learn and perform exciting excerpts from some of the most popular and well-loved West End musicals.
Led by our experienced musical theatre team, participants will enjoy a packed programme of:
- Singing
- Acting
- Dance & Movement
- Stage Performance
- Character Work
- Ensemble Rehearsals
- Confidence Building Activities
Whether your child already loves performing or simply wants to build confidence and try something new, this camp offers the perfect supportive and encouraging environment for every ability.
BUILD CONFIDENCE, CREATIVITY AND NEW FRIENDSHIPS
Our Musical Theatre Summer Camp is about so much more than learning songs and routines.
Across the five days, children will:
- develop self-confidence,
- improve communication skills,
- learn teamwork and collaboration,
- make new friendships,
- grow in creativity,
- and experience the thrill of performing as part of a cast.
This is a wonderful opportunity for young people to step outside their comfort zone, express themselves and create memories that will stay with them long after the summer holidays.
FINAL DAY PERFORMANCE FOR PARENTS & CARERS
The week will culminate in a special staged showcase on the final day where parents and carers will be invited to watch the children perform everything they have worked on throughout the course.
This gives every child the excitement and pride of performing on stage in front of an audience in a real theatre venue.

Jo Garofalo – Co-Founder & Creative Director Jo trained at Laine Theatre Arts and has performed extensively across the UK and internationally, including the West End and tours. With over 20 years’ experience producing music and television content alongside her husband, she has worked with world-renowned artists. As Co-Founder and Creative Director of Voice in a Million for the past 17 years, Jo brings exceptional industrv knowledge, creativity, and a passion for developing young performers.
Neil Shrimpton – Musical Director Neil is a classically trained pianist and composer, graduating from the London College of Music with a postgraduate diploma in composing for film and television. With a diverse career as a performer, teacher, and musical director, Neil has led Voice in a Million as Musical Director for 17 years. He is responsible for conducting the mass choir, developing harmonies, and producing all musical arrangements, bringing outstanding musical expertise to every performance.
